In media including mosaic, terra-cotta, bronze, and faceted glass, these artworks are installed in the stations of the New York City subway system, Metro North, and the Long Island Railroad. Artists represented include Elizabeth Murray, Faith Ringgold, Eric Fischl, Nancy Spero, Maya Lin, Mary Miss, Tom Otterness, and the Acconci Studio. Of special interest is an impressive group of works by women artists such as Xenobia Bailey, Shinique Smith, Alyson Shotz, Portia Munson, Amy Bennett, and Joy Taylor.
